Costco Shopping for Whole 30

Ahhhh! Costco! The joy and also the bane of our existence for shopping! How many of us can get out of there without forking over $200? Very few I'd imagine!

Costco is bringing on board more and more healthier items, which is nice to see. Below the graphic is a list that a FB Whole30 group put together of their favorite items.  It is by no means a full and exhaustive list, but is a darned good start for ideas!

Not all products are carried in all stores!

Proteins

FISH
Albacore Tuna, Wild (canned)
Halibut, wild-caught
Rockfish, wild-caught
Sardines, canned
Shrimp, wild-caught
Skipjack Tuna (best to use if eating tuna regularly)
Sockeye Salmon, wild-caught
Sole, wild-caught

BEEF
Roast Beef & Balogna (check for sugar/carageenan)
Beef, Ground, Organic
Buffalo, Ground, Organic
Steaks, grass-fed (pricey, not all Costcos carry these)

Butternut Squash (cubed)
Green Chiles, Southwestern Roasted

VEGGIES, OTHER THAN FRESH
Beets (boil in the pack)
Marinara Sauce

Almond Butter
Ghee (not all Costcos carry this)
Kerrygold Butter for making Ghee

Guacamole (individual packs)

Cashews (double check to make sure they aren't processed in peanut oil)

Almond butter (be careful as there are some that are not compliant)

* Be careful with dried fruits--they are generally higher in natural sugars. You would be better off foregoing these for 30 days for good results.
